项目与礼仪

7月24日下午，影像和装置艺术领域的资深西班牙先锋艺术家安东尼•蒙塔达斯将来到北京民生现代美术馆的民生fan空间，在邱志杰的主持下举行讲座：项目与礼仪。他会在讲座中回顾其40年的艺术创作之路，并重点讲述他近期的“亚洲礼仪”项目。


“亚洲礼仪”项目发端于2012年，已经在首尔和东京做过展览。2018年，安东尼先生将带这个项目来到北京展览。这个项目试图通过调查不同国家的礼仪风貌，以视觉展示的方式呈现日本、中国、和韩国之间的相似、区别、与冲突。

The pioneering video and installation artist Antoni Muntadas will give a lecture on his works of the last 40 years especially focusing on his recent project Asian Protocols。
Asian Protocols started in 2012 and has been shown in Seoul and Tokyo, the idea is to show it in Beijing in 2018. This project is an attempt to reveal visually some of the similarities and differences as well as the conflicts that exist among Japan, China, and Korea - by researching the protocols operating in each of these countries.

安东尼•蒙塔达斯（1942年出生于西班牙的巴塞罗那），曾连续多年在麻省理工学院艺术、文化与科技中心担任教授。现执教于威尼斯建筑大学。


他的作品涉及社会、政治与传播问题，探讨在社会框架下公共空间与私人空间的关系，也探讨信息传播的渠道，以及中央信息审查和信息用于思想传播。


他的作品曾在多家美术馆展出，包括纽约现代艺术博物馆，加州伯克利美术馆，蒙特利尔当代美术馆，马德里索菲亚王后艺术中心，布宜诺斯艾利斯现代艺术馆，里约热内卢当代美术馆，巴塞罗那当代美术馆等。除此，他还参加过第6届和第10届卡塞尔文献展（1977，1997），惠特尼美国艺术双年展（1991），第51届威尼斯双年展（2005），其他参与过的双年展还包括圣保罗，里昂，台北，光州和哈瓦那。

Lecturer:
Antoni Muntadas (Barcelona 1942), a professor of practice at the MIT Program in Art, Culture and Technology in Cambridge for many years, is currently a professor at the School of Architecture IUAV in Venice.
Through his works he addresses social, political and communications issues, the relationship between public and private space within social frameworks, and investigates channels of information and the ways they may be used to censor central information or promulgate ideas.
His work has been exhibited in numerous museums, including The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Berkeley Art Museum in California, the Musée Contemporain de Montreal, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires, the Museu de Arte Moderna in Rio de Janeiro and the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona. Other international events in which he has presented work are the VI and X editions of Documenta Kassel (1977, 1997), the Whitney Biennial of American Art (1991), the 51st Venice Biennial (2005) and those in São Paulo, Lyon, Taipei, Gwangju and Havana.

邱志杰1969年生于中国福建省福州市。1992年毕业于浙江美术学院版画系，开始介入当代艺术活动。现为中央美术学院实验艺术系和中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院教授，居住在杭州和北京。


邱志杰的创作活动涉及书法、水墨绘画、摄影、录像、装置、剧场等多种方式。他代表了一种沟通中国文人传统与当代艺术、沟通社会关怀和艺术的个人解放力量的崭新尝试。

Host:
Qiu Zhijie was born in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, China, in 1969. He graduated from the Printmaking department at China Academy of Art in 1992 and started to become active in the contemporary art scene. He is a professor at the Department of Experimental Art of Central Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Inter-media Art at China Academy of Art. He works and lives in Beijing and Hangzhou.
As an artist, Qiu Zhijie is known for his calligraphy and ink painting, photography, video, installation and performance works. His art is representational of a new kind of experimental communication between the Chinese literati tradition and contemporary art, social participation and the power of self-liberation of art.
民生fan空间
fan在英文里既有“狂热、着迷”又有“风扇”之义，同时fan与中文的“范”和“泛”同音。
“民生fan空间”是北京民生现代美术馆为支持和促进当代视觉文化发展打造的系列公共教育活动。美术馆邀请与当代视觉文化相关的嘉宾和机构，以当下发生的文化事件和主题为线索，在文化从业者和社会公众之间提供交流和对话的平台，从而更好的体现当代美术馆作为社会公共空间和文化发生场的职能和作用。
